MEMORY MAZE MARCH POST (1)

Hello Ladies,

Liz here again.  Well here we are with Autumn underway in the Southern Hemisphere.  Great time to be trying new techniques on your work.

Have you ever thought of playing around with some of your kitchen supplies?    For you today I have played around with some Aluminum Foil.
Firstly I started with MEMORY MAZE 'Uncle' word.

I slightly crumbled the foil and then crumbled it out and worked it around the MM chippie
Then I had fun getting messy with some Maya 'gold', emerald and Cacao paints

Finally, I applied my favourite Inka Gold 'orange' and then polished it up and here is the result.
I decided to make a card and use the Memory Maze 'Uncle' on it.
 ****************************************************************************

Now for something a lot more feminine ladies.
I decided  to create a layout for my granddaughter's album.

Here I have used
Memory Maze Fence LO 166
Memory Maze words 'Cute as a button'
Memory Maze words 'I love being'
Don't be afraid to cut up your chipboard pieces to suit your layouts it opens up a whole new look at chippies for sure.

Crackle accents really adds a vintage effect to your chippies and is so easy to apply and let it work its magic on your favourite chipboard piece.  On the Memory Maze fence, I first applied some gesso, dried and then applied crackle medium and left it to work its magic.
Now for the completed layout, I was so pleased with the way that it all came together.

I hope now this gives you a new look on how versatile your Memory Maze chipboards can be.
Thanks for taking the time to look.....until next time....happy scrapping....Love Liz

MEMORY MAZE DESIGN TEAM POST

Hello girls,

Well to say that I am very excited to join Memory Maze's Design Team and work with a wonderful group of girls is an under statement and I can't wait to show you some of MM fantastic products.

Firstly, I decided to have a play with Memory Maze's heart stencils.  Although we don't celebrate Valentine's Day here in Australia, I could not resist making a card for my dear Hubby Ray.

So I set to with some water colour paper, sprayed with a little Tattered Angels Vintage Pink Glimmer Mist.  Then the gorgeous MM heart stencil with some Impasto and dried with a heat gun.

I then applied some Tim Holtz Distress Ink 'Dusty Concord'.

I love how this looks at the moment and you could stop here, but why????? It is a lot more fun to extend your work don't you think??  I decided to apply some Gesso over the whole area, just patchy
and dried with the heat gun once again.
Now for the fun part.............I embossed the hearts you could do this with clear or coloured embossing powder.

So now all the play is over, I set to dressing up the card and here is my final result.  I used another heart stencil from Memory Maze to cut out the centre purple heart. and layered some of the original hearts and dressed them with Inka Gold Blue.

Now for a layout girls, here I have cut up the Memory Maze's Flourish, which I have spread with PVA Glue, then dried with heat gun to make it bubble up, looks great when it bubbles up. Then spread gesso over the top and dried with heat gun.  Sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist, which caused a dotted effect.

For the Memory Maze Anchor I covered it with Gesso and applied some Silks 'warm gray' and some Inca gold to give it an aged look.
Now for the final result..........................................................

Thanks for taking the time to look and don't forget to check out the wonderful array of goodies at Memory Maze
and until next time........Happy Scrapping   Love Liz.

SCRAPBOOKIT FEBRUARY CHALLENGE

Hello girls,

Lovely cool weather which is unusual for this time of the year in our neck of the woods, but so grateful for it nevertheless :)  Give me plenty of time to scrap.
So over at SCRAPBOOKIT this month they have a lovely mood board to work with.  I chose to work with the deck of cards and the word 'dream'. Here I have used this card overlay that I have had in my stash for quite some time.
Thanks for taking the time to look....until next time ....happy scrapping....love Liz
